Terms and Conditions for Explore Green Africa Safaris

Welcome to Explore Green Africa Safaris. By using our website and booking services with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all bookings and services provided by Explore Green Africa Safaris. Please read them carefully before making any reservations.

1. Booking and Payment Terms

1.1 Booking Confirmation

• A booking is considered confirmed only when we have received a deposit of 30% of the total safari cost and you have received a written confirmation from Explore Green Africa Safaris. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the safari departure date.

1.2 Late Bookings

• For bookings made less than 60 days before the departure date, the full payment is required at the time of booking.

1.3 Payment Methods

• We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, or any other method specified at the time of booking. All payments should be made in USD unless otherwise agreed.

2. Prices and Inclusions

2.1 Pricing

• The prices listed on our website and in our communications are per person, based on double occupancy, unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change until the booking is confirmed.

2.2 Inclusions

• The safari price typically includes accommodations, meals, transportation, park fees, and guided tours as specified in the itinerary. Any additional services or activities not expressly included in the itinerary will incur additional charges.

2.3 Exclusions

• Prices do not include international flights, visas, travel insurance, personal expenses, tips, and any other items not explicitly mentioned in the itinerary.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1 Cancellation by the Traveler

• Please refer to our Cancellation and Refund Policy for detailed information on our cancellation terms.

3.2 Cancellation by Explore Green Africa Safaris

• In rare cases, we may need to cancel your safari due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, you will be offered an alternative safari of similar value or a full refund.

4. Travel Insurance

4.1 Mandatory Insurance

• All travelers are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, personal injury, loss of baggage, and other travel-related risks.

5. Travel Documents and Visas

5.1 Responsibility

• It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that they have a valid passport, visas, and any necessary health or travel documents required for entry into Tanzania. Explore Green Africa Safaris is not responsible for any issues that arise due to failure to obtain or present these documents.

6. Health and Safety

6.1 Medical Conditions

• You must inform us of any medical conditions or dietary requirements at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate these needs but cannot guarantee that all requests will be met.

6.2 Health Precautions

• Travelers are responsible for obtaining appropriate vaccinations and taking necessary precautions against malaria and other health risks in Tanzania.

7. Itinerary Changes

7.1 Flexibility

• While we strive to adhere to the planned itinerary, changes may be necessary due to weather conditions, wildlife movements, or other factors beyond our control. We reserve the right to make adjustments to the itinerary as needed.

7.2 Traveler-Initiated Changes

• If you request changes to the itinerary after booking, we will do our best to accommodate these requests, but additional charges may apply. Major changes may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, subject to the applicable fees.

8. Liability and Responsibility

8.1 Limitation of Liability

• Explore Green Africa Safaris acts as an agent in booking transportation, accommodation, and other services. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity that may occur due to the actions of third-party service providers.

8.2 Force Majeure

• We are not liable for any delays, cancellations, or other disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or pandemics. In such cases, refunds or alternative arrangements will be offered as per our discretion.

8.3 Assumption of Risk

• Safari activities may involve inherent risks, including encounters with wildlife, remote travel conditions, and other outdoor hazards. By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

9. Conduct and Behavior

9.1 Respectful Conduct

• Travelers are expected to behave in a manner that is respectful to other guests, local communities, and wildlife. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in the termination of your safari without a refund.

9.2 Compliance with Laws

• Travelers must comply with all local laws, customs, and regulations during their safari. Failure to do so may result in legal consequences, and Explore Green Africa Safaris will not be held responsible for any such incidents.

10. Photography and Media

10.1 Use of Images

• Explore Green Africa Safaris reserves the right to use any photographs or videos taken during your safari for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in our promotional materials, please inform us in writing before your safari begins.

10.2 Respect for Privacy

• We ask that all travelers respect the privacy of others when taking photographs or videos. Always seek permission before photographing local people or private properties.

11. Privacy Policy

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tanzania.

• Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with these terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be settled by arbitration in Tanzania, in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Act.
